Product overview
PrayBefore is a real product from our own development work. It is available on the App Store and Google Play.
Problem or opportunity
Prayer is easy to postpone when a phone is the first thing someone reaches for. PrayBefore is built around putting a short, repeatable prayer practice in that moment, with Scripture and reminders close at hand.
Product approach
The product focuses on a daily habit rather than a large set of unrelated features. Flutter provides a shared codebase for the iOS and Android apps.
Main functionality
- Prayer Lock functionality
- Prayer reminders and alarms
- Personalized AI-generated prayers
- Prayer journaling
- Bible reading and verse collections
- Subscription monetization
Technology stack
Key development considerations
Reminders, subscription access, and AI-generated prayer content have to feel dependable in daily use on both iOS and Android.
